The Experience of Prototypes Construction and Modules Mass Production

The work presents the JINR 1994-2002 experience
in organization and participation of a large-scale international
cooperation of scientific centers and industrial enterprises of
Russia, Europe and the USA in creation of ATLAS hadron barrel calorimeter.
Significant attention was paid to the R D-works and quality control
methods; special role was indicated of JINR created laser metrology in
achievement of the high precision when assembling the main structural
calorimeter units: submodules and modules.
