Giant Dipole Resonance in the Absorbtion and Emission of Gamma Quanta by Intermediate and Heavy Nuclei Mazur V. M., Melnikova L. M. The characteristics on the experimental total cross sections for $\gamma $-quanta absorption by intermediate and heavy nuclei in the energy region of giant dipole resonance parameters as a function of nuclei mass, excitation energy and angular moment have been analyzed. The experimental data are interpreted in terms of relevant theoretical approaches. |
