Deep Inelastic Scattering: Q2-Dependence of Structure Functions

A review of some specific properties of the deep inelastic scattering process is given. The Q2-dependence of structure functions is considered in detail. The technique for calcucation of coefficient functions of the Wilson expansion is presented. The importance of the scheme-invariant perturbation theory is demonstrated for the kinematic ranges, where nonleading corrections to observables have large numerical values.
